"Moment of Reckoning": Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor, Cornel West & Bakari Sellers on Nationwide Uprising
In the largest nationwide uprising since the 1960s, protesters shut down cities across the United States over the weekend following the police killing of George Floyd, an African American man in Minneapolis. Police in many cities responded with extreme force, targeting protesters, members of the media and even children in what Princeton scholar Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor characterizes as a "national police riot." Taylor joins Harvard professor Cornel West and author Bakari Sellers for a roundtable discussion on the protests against racism and police brutality.
