A new team could join the Formula 1 grid in 2024 if Michael Andretti gets his way.
The former F1 driver and IndyCar champion has reached out to F1’s governing body the FIA to make his case, and is even said to have an engine supply deal already lined up.
The appeal of an Andretti F1 team seems obvious. But there’s a key hurdle facing the famous racing family - F1’s not looking for new entrants.
