This crossbow is my Halfling Rogue's go-to weapon when facing almost certain death. It has gotten us out of countless binds. I am stupid happy to pull this epic weapon into our plane of existence!

Lady Killer

Weapon (Light Crossbow), Very Rare (requires attunement)
A crossbow designed to resemble a black and red spider. It functions as a +3 light crossbow. It does not require bots to load it as the "legs" of the spider quickly weave you new arrows from the black silk that cover the crossbow as you pull back the string back.
In addition, whenever you hit a creature with this crossbow, that creature must make a Constitution saving throw against the DC 15 or take 3d8 poison damage and be poisoned until the end of your next turn. If they succeed they take half the poison damage and are not poisoned.
