Hurricane Isaias: Storm lashes the Bahamas on way towards U.S.

Hurricane Isaias made its way through the Bahamas on Friday and Saturday, unleashing heavy winds and heavy rain, resulting in snapped trees and power outages.

The prime minister of the Bahamas relaxed a COVID-19 lockdown as a result of the storm, but imposed a 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew local time.

As the storm moved away from the island it weakened to a tropical storm, though is expected to grow back into a hurricane as it reaches Florida.
