Pulmonary capillary wedge pressure (PCWP)
Hello friends, this video introduces a very valuable hemodynamic concept of wedge pressure which essentially reflects LA pressure. It teaches how to identify PCWP tracing correctly, and how to differentiate a wedge tracing from a pulmonary arterial waveform. Hope this helps you in the cath lab!
👉 Correction: As rightly pointed out by one of our viewers, it should have been "after the mitral valve opens" not the tricuspid valve at 04:45!
