Kindly ignore the ifconfig instruction @ 3:00​ Just open PuTTy and type raspberrypi.local and carry on with remaining steps
If you are facing problems regarding connection to desktop please try to change the default resolution during raspberry pi configuration i.e Under Advanced options then try to connect with VNC.
