अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के नरक वाले बयान को लेकर भारत में विवाद खड़ा हो गया है. ट्रंप ने बातचीत का ट्रांसक्रिप्ट शेयर किया था, जिसमें भारत, चीन और कुछ अन्य देशों को हेलहोल (नरक) कहा गया था. इस बयान के सामने आने के बाद भारत ने कड़ा विरोध जताया. इस संबंध में विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता रणधीर जायसवाल ने साफ कहा, 'इस तरह की बातें न तो सही हैं और न ही यह भारत और अमेरिका के संबंधों की असल तस्वीर दिखाती हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि यह बयान बिना पूरी जानकारी के दिया गया है और इसमें अच्छी समझदारी की कमी दिखती है.'
