SMA Sunny Island Setup a New System, New Battery or Emergency Charge with a Sunny Remote Control

Do you have an SMA Sunny Island inverter that you need to change some major settings on or give an emergency charge? Settings such as changing the size of your battery bank or whether the system is on or off-grid are not parameters that can be adjusted under the normal settings on a Sunny Island, they need to be changed on the startup of the inverter through the Sunny Remote Control.

Please be advised that this video is NOT APPLICABLE to the newer -12 models of Sunny Island. The -12 configuration is through the inverters web interface.
