The United Kingdom, an island nation in the Europe who once controlled 24% of the Earth's total land area, and 23% of the world population. And even though the UK economy today may no longer be anywhere near the way it used to be on a global level, it is still the 2nd largest economy in Europe and 5th largest economy in the world. So how Britain's economy has changed and adopted over the centuries and is still one of the biggest economies in the world?
