If you have a new (or at least newer) MacBook, MacBook Air or Macbook Pro you are using the one and only USB C port. Also if you have the iPad Pro or the new iPad Air 4 you are also using that same USB-C port. And those ports are great and have a lot of flexibility. But having a USB-C adapter is really important. These adapters give you the ability to plug in all kinds of devices which is kind of important. So when Aukey asked if we would like to try their new AUKEY CB-C71 8 in 1 USB Type C Hub we, of course, said yes. And I have to say that I'm a fan. The AUKEY CB-C71 8 in 1 USB Type C Hub comes with 2 USB 3 ports, a USB 2.0 port, Micro SD and full-size SD Card reader, Plus 4K/30 HDMI port, and ethernet. Plus it has a full PD USBC port (PD = Power Delivery). So the AUKEY CB-C71 8 in 1 USB Type C Hub is a very feature-full adapter. And one that should keep you happy for some time. We tried this on both our new M1 Macbook Pro and iPad Air 4 and it worked flawlessly. A great option for those looking at getting an adapter for their new Macbook or iPad.
