Snorkeling in Maldives with Fishes and Turtles | Sand Bank Visit | Dolphin Watching | Vlog#3
This is the third video from my Maldives series and is based on my Day Excursion in which we did Snokeling, Sand Bank Visit and Dolphin Watching(Spotting) on 26th September, 2019. Maldives is gifted with crystal clear water all around it and Snorkeling in Maldives is definitely a must do activity.
You can enjoy a number of water sports and other activities in Maldives and one of them is Snorkeling. There are a lot of packages out of which you can opt for and we opted for 3 point snorkeling. In this activity, we were taken to 3 different points for snorkeling where we could swim along with a variety of fishes and turtles. Also, on the way we had a chance to spot a lot of Dolphins. We were also taken to a Sand Bank where our Barbeque lunch was served.
What all was included in the Package?
Snokeling, Sand Bank, Veg/Non Veg Lunch, Soft Drinks, Dolphin Watching and To & Fro Transfers
What was the cost of the Package?
It costed us $110 (For 4 Adults). They were telling us a price of $35 per person but we bargained a bit and finally got this deal of $110. Depending upon the size of your group, you could get a good discount.
What is Snorkeling? [According to Wikipedia]
Snorkeling is the practice of swimming on or through a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped breathing tube called a snorkel, and usually swimfins. In cooler waters, a wetsuit may also be worn. Use of this equipment allows the snorkeler to observe underwater attractions for extended periods with relatively little effort and to breathe while face-down at the surface.
