35mm 7Artisans - Sirui Anamorphic Adapter - Magic Lantern RAW - CinemaDNGs - DNxHR 444

Filmed with Canon EOS M + 35mm 7Artisans f/1.4 + Sirui Anamorphic Adapter at 12bit Lossless RAW, modes:
1080p 48fps (2:1)
1080p 25fps (2:1)
4.4K 25fps (2:1)
1440p 25fps (2:1)

Gyro: SenseFlow A1
Close-up +1
no VND

This footage was processed as CDNG.
Workflow:
1. MLVapp export as CDNG
2. MLVapp export as ProRes Proxy (for stabilization purposes)
3. Davinci - CDNGs exported as separate DNxHR 444 master clips after CST to DWG/Intermediate and Clip correction to x3 desqueeze for 1x3 clips.
4. GyroFlow - ProRes files were used to stabilize and create project files.
5. Davinci - DNxHR files were color graded, desqueezed x1.25 and stabilized in Fusion using GF ofx plug in based on pre-created project files.
6. Exported as H264.

My take - it actually gives a better color depth since we're using Canon Color Gamut during CST f4om RAW to DNxHR 444 12bit masters.

The only issue... you have to create separate timelines with exact resolutions for each clip type/frame rate to create master files.

Little note - I'd stay away from 3x3 clips with this workflow since there is no way you can use CA desaturation and other tools when exporting in CDNGs...

Other than that... pretty nice color depth I think.... closer to RAW than a washed out ProRes 4444 export from MLVapp.

Useful for certain scenarios, but it's a long processing workflow.
