Morning Glow - Landscape Photography at Pen y fan, South Wales.

6:30 am.. I arrived at the foot of Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons, The highest peak in South Wales with the hope to capture a fantastic sunrise from the summit.

The mountain is 886 meters high and is easily accessible in the dark - Thank goodness!

After a brisk walk up to the summit i made my way over to a location on the mountain where i hoped to catch a glorious sunrise.
Its adventures like these that make me glad im using the super lightweight Fujifilm X-T2 for landscape photography, makes hiking up a mountain in the dark a lot easier! :-)

On reaching the summit I was shocked to have had the mountain entirely to myself.. Never before!

I found my location and set up my Fujifilm X-T2 in preparation for the morning glow.. And wow! what a glow it was!

Pen Y Fan is an amazing place, great for a wonder but especially for landscape photography, it never disappoints and this mornings adventure was one to remember!
