Sustainability After COVID 19: Voices from GGGI, OECD, UNEP and World Bank

What does COVID-19 mean for sustainable development?

Are existing green economy solutions being overlooked in COVID-19 response strategies?

What would an ideal long-term COVID-19 stimulus package look like?

Are particular support measures required for low- and middle-income countries?

What is missing from the broader conversation around COVID-19 response strategies?

On 21 April 2020, the GGKP explored these critical questions with Susanne Pedersen, Assistant Director-General and Head of the Investment and Policy Solutions Division at the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI); Kumi Kitamori, Head of Division, Green Growth & Global Relations at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD); Steven Stone, Chief, Resources and Markets Branch, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Richard Damania, Chief Economist of Sustainable Development at the World Bank. The panel discussion was moderated by Gabriele Wagner from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
