The footage of the short film captures the city of Odessa. 1928: the streets of the Black Sea city, the beach, a serene and bright day. In 13 years, in 1941, the multinational army of the Soviet Union will heroically defend this city for 73 days from the troops of Germany and Romania. Only in accordance with the strategic tasks, the Russians had to leave this city and retreat in an organized manner. During the Second World War, the city was badly destroyed by the enemy, and the Russians needed a lot of effort and money to restore it.
