 Warning: SPOILERS ahead for Gen V season 2, episode 5, "The Kids Are Not Alright."Gen V season 2 has been teasing the potential of Marie Moreau's power, and the spinoff's latest episode gives her a major upgrade — one that could prove game-changing for The Boys season 5. "The Kids Are Not Alright" brings Gen V's heroes back to Elmira, with Marie and her friends trying to break Cate out of the facility, only to be imprisoned again themselves.  Cipher uses this opportunity to push Marie and her friends further than before, something he's committed himself to for the entirety of Gen V's sophomore season. He even brings Marie's sister into the fold, finally giving viewers the reunion they've waited for. Unfortunately, Cipher using Annabeth to get what he wants makes her arrival more stressful.  And Gen V wastes no time showing how much danger Annabeth is in. Marie's sister is fatally wounded at the end of "The Kids Are Not Alright," prompting a massive power upgrade for Marie. Depending on how far the spinoff takes it, it could have major consequences for Gen V season 2 and The Boys season 5. Gen V Season 2 Just Confirmed Marie Moreau Can Heal People With Her Power  When Marie and her friends are attempting to escape from Elmira, they try to save Annabeth as well — and come across her body bleeding on the floor instead. It appears that Annabeth is dead, and Marie is understandably devastated, so much so that she taps into an all-new side of her power.  At the end of "The Kids Are Not Alright," Marie uses her control over blood to heal Annabeth, prompting her to start breathing again. This is a huge deal, and it makes a strong case for Marie being one of The Boys universe's strongest Supes. However, it takes an immense amount of willpower, and it also sees Marie hurting her friends in the process.  Gen V has yet to explain exactly how Marie can manipulate blood to heal, but its latest episode depicts everyone around her experiencing pain and nosebleeds as she does. It's possible this is something that Marie can get under control as she learns to master her ability.
