What’s happening in this movie clip?
Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) heals Daniel’s (Ralph Macchio) shoulder and asks him to show him “sanding the floor.” Daniel doesn’t understand at first. Mr. Miyagi is actually teaching him moves he must use when he fights.

What’s the movie about?
Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) is a teenager taught karate by Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) in order to help defend himself and compete in a tournament against his bullies, one of which is Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka).
