▶ Storyline: "Gomer Pyle, USMC 1969"
The episode is titled "Gomer Maneuvers" and is part of Season 5, Episode 21. The Marines deploy Carter's and Hacker's platoons to maneuvers. The hacker convinces Gomer into telling him where Carter's tents are located and that they must move in the middle of the night. Carter strikes a girl scout camp by mistake owing to bad intel from Pyle. Carter sent Pyle back to the base. Pyle is captured by Hacker. Pyle then escapes. Pyle Joins the Girl Scouts; Hacker’s Platoon Raids. Carter's platoon is directly behind them. Taking the Hacker platoon. The hacker is back at the base. Pays the $50 lost the bet. A surprise ending has Gomer smiling and the sergeants both disappointed.
