A Rainy Hike in August — Making Fire and Coffee Under the Tarp

Fall is getting closer, and the weather here in Lofoten is changing fast. I go out for a hike on the north side of the island where I live, and get to experience some wet conditions with low clouds and intermittent rain showers. I arrive at the lake called Sandsvatnet and set up the tarp to have a shelter from the rain. I make coffee on the wood stove while I listen to the sound of rain on the tarp.
