Beedrill EX + Weedle STING The Pocket META | Pokémon TCG Pocket

What's Up Guys Team Aqua Grunt: Spirit Crusher. We are here in the new "Deluxe Pack" era and during this we had the re release of a bunch of old cards and rarer forms of all kinds of different Pokemon, Trainers and Items alike. So during this period since Pokemon Pocket has brought us back I too will be bringing us back and playing through old decks and old cards. Of course I will also be sprinkling in anything new I can find but until our 3 pack release and Mega Pokemon in October we are here in the Deluxe Pack Era. Today I play Beedrill EX and Beedrill EX only in a grass type deck with a ton of heals that can also discard energy and doesn't even need a singular poke ball to function.
Beedrill EX has 170 HP and does 80 damage for 2 grass energy. Beedrill EX also discards a random energy from your opponent after each attack.

We only play Beedrill EX in this deck and we play 2 lines with one Kakuna. We start Weedle obviously and Weedle is really cool because it’s basic attack draws your other Weedle onto the bench. This helps a lot because we don’t need to then play any pokeball as we are guaranteed both basics right from the start. Then we can draw into our deck and heal our way to victory.

I fill the deck out with a lot of healing. 2 Leaf Cape, 2 Erika, 2 Potion & 2 Lillie for a whooping 320 total HP we can heal for, pretty cool. Then we have a repel and Sabrina to pull off our winning moves and bust our opponents when needed. Also finishing this off with a Mars for hand disruption which is always cool.

I like this deck I’d say a solid 7.7 out of 10. This deck is obviously really consistent as we always start in the same place and Weedle helps us draw out our deck. Also the healing is off the charts and paired with Beedrill EX’s abilitiy to knock energy off the opponent we really do have a winning deck. I really can’t rate this any higher as it is only one Pokémon and doesn’t have much to provide in the way of alternative opportunities and if we can’t draw Beedrill EX quick enough we may be in serious trouble.
