DIY well water extraction tool using waste plastic bottles

This video shares how to make a DIY well water extraction tool using waste plastic bottles, with no professional equipment required. Using only a waste plastic bottle, a rope, and a matching ball, you can easily draw well water, solving problems of temporary water access inconvenience and high costs.

Materials Needed:
1 intact hard plastic bottle,1 sturdy rope with a length suitable for the well depth,1 smooth ball that fits the bottle mouth.

Making Steps:
Step 1: Clean and dry the plastic bottle. Punch a small hole in the center of the bottle bottom, matching the thickness of the rope. Thread one end of the rope through the hole and tie a knot inside the bottle to secure it. Leave enough length on the other end for holding.

Step 2: Tie the ball to the rope outside the bottle, near the bottom. Adjust the length so the ball can seal tightly against the bottle mouth.

Step 3: Hold the rope and slowly lower the plastic bottle into the well with the mouth facing down. The ball will separate, allowing well water to flow in. Once full, slowly pull up the rope — the ball seals the mouth to prevent water from leaking. When lifted to the wellhead, shake the rope to separate the ball and pour out the water.

This tool is zero-cost, uses easy-to-get materials, and can be made in minutes. It is lightweight, flexible, fits narrow well mouths, requires no electricity or maintenance. It recycles waste while solving temporary water intake problems, making it highly practical.
