Hailstorm, slowly approaching Vienna, May 24 2014
The video shows a slowly approaching line of convergence. Along this line several storms develop and dissipate again, until finally a system of strong cells develops and crosses the city from southwest to northeast. The western and northwestern parts of the city have been affected by torrential rain (63mm per hour) and hail, towards the east and south the passage of the storm can be described as a little more benign.
