Rio Park Hotel Benidorm August 2019

A little walk through of the MedPlaya Rio Park Hotel Benidorm, after the refurbishment. We stayed in August 2019, the hotel and staff were excellent. It was a little busy as school holidays were on!
We stayed in room 531, the rooms are very clean and spacious, with a free safe and fridge. the air con was good.
We also got the free wifi in the room.
The lifts can be a bit of a problem, especially at mealtimes, there are 5 however, so we didn't see a massive problem, especially being on floor 5 we could walk down.
The breakfast and dinner were very good, nice food and not much queuing. You get free coffee and juice for breakfast but nothing in the evening, so either take your own down or you can buy from the bar.
It was very hot in Benidorm this week, pushing 40 degrees every day! it is only a 10min walk to the beach though, to take a dip in the nice warm sea.
Sunbeds and parasols are 5 euro each on the beach.
You are very close to a multitude of bars and restaurants, with plenty of cheap meals and alcohol on offer.

All in all a lovely hotel to stay at.
Oh and the usual queue and mad dash at precisely 8am to put the towels on the sunbeds!!!
