Afowl are the first creatures you'll meet in Witherspring - they aren't too dangerous, but they'll eat your crops! They'll also get angry if you approach their nests or steal their eggs!

Scarecrows can be used to keep Afowl at bay (and I've even found ways to weaponize this by creating a safe zone to snipe them from). As pets, they'll give you feathers and eggs!
