M5 Matched Pair in ORTF Placement: Recording A Choir

Featuring the M5 Matched Pair to demonstrate different stereo applications, we recorded the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs at their rehearsal space in The Rocks, Sydney.

Using the RØDE Stereo Bar, the M5 microphones were placed in the ORTF configuration due to the size of the choir and the space. The microphones were placed 17cm apart and spread to a 110˚ angle with help from the Stereo Bar's mounting guide & markings.

The RØDE Stereo bar will be released in early 2014.
