MS Rogne

The fishing boat MS Rogne sails out from Fosnavåg harbor after picking up the fishing gear at Fosnot, they are now ready to start the mackerel season 2020.

Karstensens Skibsværft A / S, Skagen handed over the combined purse seine / trawler M / S «ROGNE» to Rogne AS on 3 June 2013 as the yard's building number 422. The vessel has a length of 69.9 meters and an RSW capacity of 1970 m3 and was built according to Karstensen's Shipyard's own design.
In relation to the original plan, the vessel should have been delivered in December 2012, one year after the time of contracting. However, there were delays at the hull yard in Lithuania, and the boat first arrived in Skagen in mid-November 2012.

This Karstensen design has furnishings and arrangements specially adapted to the Norwegian market. The slim hull is optimized for the speed range 12-14 knots and has the same good seaworthiness as previous newbuildings from the yard.

The whole concept has been developed in close collaboration between the shipping company and the shipyard. The company is currently run by the brothers Frank, Kjell-Ove and Per-Magne Rogne, who have all taken an active part in the design and construction process.

M / S «ROGNE» is resident in Fosnavåg and has DNV class ✠1A1, Fishing Vessel.
