Full self driving Beta. Several disengagements here and there.
Tesla FSD Autopilot still has some learning to do :) But its human counter parts ain't perfect either 😯

I'm holding my hand on the wheel to take over at moment's notice but not steering. All steering inputs (quite jerky in the corners still), turn signaling, braking done by the car while in FSD mode. #tesla #fsdbeta

Salient points:

- Capitalism (modern healthy versions of it) should be celebrated as engine of growth and prosperity and wealth creation that eventually gets distributed to all. Capitalism + technology is the flywheel of economy

- Need to be cognizant of hedonism treadmill, human nature is to get used to improvements in quality of life and thus fail to recognize how much better we already do have it, also easy to rest on our laurels and thus fail to progress further

- The ultimate resource is the human mind (there's no limited resources otherwise) - Julian Simon school of thought - we need more people and we need more human minds working on improving our lives, need to get out of zero-sum game mindset

- As a society we should give more support to 3 classes of workers: scientists, businessmen, child caretakers (and elderly caretakers by extension, while working on longevity technologies as well)

- Interesting dichotomy is that even though we live in more advanced society in objective terms, in some ways we live in "poorer" society than say 1900 because we can *imagine* so much more (Star Trek, movies etc.) today than we were able to imagine in 1900s, making us feel "poor". It is the psychology we’re struggling with often times, not the objective reality of things.
