The 1980-1981 Pontiac Trans Am was the last hurrah for the second generation (1970-1981) Trans Am, it would also be the Pontiac V8's last stand. The 1980-1981 Trans Am Turbo 4.9 liter V8 was one of the best new performance cars available during its time however it has gotten an unfair bashing by some. But popular opinion is changing and the the 1980-1981 Turbo Trans Am is finally getting the credit it deserves.

L37 - 150 horsepower 4-bbl 4.9 liter V8
LG4 - 150 horsepower 4-bbl 5.0 liter V8
