If you are having an issue where you get video but no audio when using your Amazon Fire Stick, there’s a simple fix. From the Home screen, go to Settings then Display & Sounds then Audio then Dolby Digital Plus set to OFF.

This video shows the setup of the older version (v1 - v4) of the Bleiden converter for connecting an Amazon FireTV Stick to a TV that doesn't have an HDMI port. The converter takes the Fire Stick's HDMI output and translates it to composite video for compatibility with older televisions.
