sour cream recipe (simply blend all ingredients until smooth) →
-1 cup raw cashews, soaked overnight
-1/2 container firm silken tofu
-juice of 1/2 lemon
-1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
-generous pinch of salt
(a little dash of garlic powder is great in this too, although it makes it less "realistic")

If you want to use a store-bought sour cream, I recommend the one by Simple Truth. I personally hated the one by Good Karma and am indifferent to the Tofutti one.
