Telangana Amarnth Yatra part 2

Just after starting our Saleshwaram yatra, In the pitch-dark forest, with only torchlights around, everyone paused to offer prayers. The atmosphere was surreal—intense forest sounds, cool breeze, and total silence among the group. The pooja done in that deep darkness felt powerful, raw, and full of devotion. A moment where nature and spirituality truly connected.

Pamula Putta (meaning Snake Hill or Snake House) is a sacred anthill found along the Saleshwaram yatra path. It is believed to be the home of divine snakes, and locals consider it a powerful spiritual spot.

Pooja at Pamula Putta:
Devotees stop here during the early hours of the trek to perform a small pooja. In the silence of the forest, with only torchlights and forest sounds around, they offer prayers, pour milk or water, and light camphor or agarbatti. It’s believed that praying here brings protection and blessings for the journey ahead.
