"Just One More" by George Jones - Preamp Test

A bit of George Jones' "Just One More."

I've been making design adjustments to my vacuum tube mic preamp and needed to sample something. Since George Jones is my all-time favorite, I figured this song would highlight the sonic character of the preamp nicely. Singing into my all original, Telefunken-badged, Neumann U47 from 1961.

If you think George Jones was "just" a great singer, you should check out his catalog of original material. He wrote some great ones that were even hits for other artists, like "Life to Go," which launched Stonewall Jackson's career.
