This is Boots on the Ground, and we’re reporting today from Kfar Yasif, a Christian Arab village in northern Israel that was bombarded by Hezbollah rockets during the war. Here, we meet the Sakas family—founders of Israel’s national kickboxing team—who have trained through the war, united Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Druze, and won global championships with the Israeli flag on their shoulders.

Meanwhile, Israel’s military has moved into southern Syria, pushing for full demilitarization near the border, and offering real protection for the Druze minority and other persecuted groups.
