Israeli forces enter Al Aqsa on last Friday of Ramadan

Amid heightened tensions in Jerusalem, Israeli forces entered Al Aqsa compound in force, as Muslims gathered to worship there among one of the final nights of the Muslim holy month or Ramadan.

Palestinians and rights groups have clashed with Israeli forces over the forced evictions of Palestinian families in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem.

At least 53 people were injured in Friday's violence, according to Palestinian emergency services.
