Reaching goals through chronic pain (Being Me: Rachel Maia)
Rachel Māia is a record setting Para climber for New Zealand and a mother to three Superheroes. After breaking both feet while rock climbing at age 16, Rachel has lived with constant pain ever since. Considering amputating her leg, she chooses resilience as a way of life and climbs through the pain as a way of retaining balance.
