West End Eagles ~ Thunder Brings Breakfish For Triplets & Watches Pod Of Dolphins Jumping 🐬 5.10.24

Koa & Treasure are nine weeks old and Sterling will be in a couple of days. ♥ Thunder is seen flying in with a partial rockfish and she lands and has to get out of the way quickly and take off. Looks like Treasure might have gotten the fish and then begins to eat it. Thunder flies to the tor and watches a pod of dolphins swimming and jumping in the ocean! How cool is that! She will fly off and return and stand on the tor while the triplets are all looking out over the water. Thank you for watching!

Nest info: Eaglets WE1 (Koa), hatch 3/9 -3am; WE2 (Treasure), hatch 3/9 -7pm; WE3 (Sterling) 3/12 hatch by 4:10am; Thunder (F) 15 yrs old; Akecheta (M) (wing tag 61) 8 yrs old.

This eagle pair is a success story, part of a bald eagle restoration program started by the Institute for Wildlife Studies in 1980. Their nest has been active since 1991 and has been streaming live since 2005.
