TOI-1338 b: The Planet That Orbits Two Suns

TOI-1338 b is a fascinating Saturn-sized exoplanet located about 1,300 light-years from Earth in the constellation Pictor.

Unlike Earth, this planet does not orbit a single star. Instead, it circles two stars at the same time, making it a circumbinary planet. The system contains a Sun-like star and a smaller M-dwarf star, while TOI-1338 b completes one orbit around both stars every 95.4 days.

Discovered by NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), TOI-1338 b was the first circumbinary planet identified by the mission, proving that planetary systems can be far more exotic than our own.
