What’s up everyone! I’m Kevin Fernandez, a second year track and field athlete (a Decathlete) at Cal Poly SLO. In this video I decided to give you all my tricks, tips, and secrets to get a DIVISION 1 SCHOLARSHIP… you’re welcome! I go in depth of exactly what you need to do to get the attention of college coaches, and what steps you need to take to secure a D1 roster spot, and scholarship. These tips helped me go from 1 D1 Walk On offer, to getting OVER 20 D1 TRACK AND FEILD OFFERS! In total I finished my high school career with over 40 scholarship/walk-on offers. Along with some tricks and tips, I give a brief overview of my recruiting process, and tell the story of how I got my offer from Cal Poly SLO! (Go Stangs!)
SENIORS!!!… I started this whole process half way through my senior year of high school, so it is NEVER too late seniors!!
