My first curly triple unicorn haircut at home

This is me, Sarah, a wavy/curly 44 year old girl from the Isle of Man, doing a triple unicorn cut for the first time. I have naturally red hair, individual strands are quite thick/coarse, but I don't have a huge amount of hair. There are so many different curl charts and pictures, but from the original Lorraine Massey Curly Girl Handbook I have a mix of S'wavy, Wavy, Cherub Curls and Botticelli even a few Corkicelli curls thrown in for good measure, I'd say 2c wavy and 3a curly in the main.

I still have no clue about porosity and whether I need more or less protein and/or moisture, I'm only 6 weeks or so into the curly girl method and trying to keep it simple, with mainly conditioner and gel only. Haven't yet found perfect conditioner, currently using the XHC strawberry. I've tried a few gels and I think I prefer the Umberto Giannini pink tube Curl Jelly the best so far.

I've been diffusing on medium heat and medium airflow, but may go back to airdrying more often as I don't want to heat damage my hair.
