Inside the Taurus Armoured Recovery Vehicle
At the Canadian War Museum, we use the Taurus Armoured Recovery Vehicle (ARV) for everyday tasks that need moving and lifting.
The Taurus ARV is designed to recover and maintain armoured vehicles in the field. The Taurus is built on the German-designed Leopard chassis and has a crew of four. It has a range of 850km, an on-road speed of 62 km/h and an off-road speed of 40 km/h.
