It reflects what it feels like to hide parts of yourself, to stay quiet, and to protect your vulnerability because you are afraid of what people might think if they knew the real you.

For a long time, silence can feel safe. Not speaking up, not sharing, not exposing the deeper parts of your story. But in recovery, I am learning that staying silent can also keep me stuck.

This song is about stepping out of that fear. About finding the courage to be honest, to be vulnerable, and to share what is real… even when it feels uncomfortable.

I was scared to put these songs out. Scared of judgment, scared of being misunderstood. But these songs are part of my healing. They are helping me grow, and they are helping me stay grounded in my recovery.

Every lyric I write comes from my own experience. This is real life, real recovery, and real courage.
