Keeper of My Soul

Inspired by Book of Psalms 121:1–8, this poem is a declaration of unwavering confidence in God’s constant protection. It reflects the believer’s upward gaze toward the hills—not in search of earthly strength, but in recognition that true help comes from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth.

The piece celebrates God as the ever-watchful Keeper who neither slumbers nor sleeps, the faithful Shade in times of heat, and the Preserver of both body and soul. It is a song of assurance that in every step taken—going out and coming in—God’s guarding presence surrounds His people now and forevermore.
