Is this Iowa tax policy home equity theft?

“Home equity theft.”

That’s the phrase now being used to describe Iowa’s 170-year-old tax sale system after an Iowa homeowner lost a house over just $2,441 in unpaid property taxes.

Now, a lawsuit could potentially change how tax sales work across the state.

This is a conversation a lot of Iowans are going to have opinions on, and I want to hear yours.
