Public Domain Books 📚 Is It Worth Selling Public Domain Books In 2020?

In March I experimented with selling 10 public domain titles on Amazon via Kindle publishing.

At first my public domain books received some sales, without the need for any marketing. But then the sales for my public domain books flat lined.

I began to market my public domain books through Amazon advertising and by the end of the month I thought I had made close to £80.00. However I soon realised that the cut that Amazon was taking was far bigger than what I counted on and I had actually made a loss.

I tightened the marketing campaigns on my public domain books and I made a little bit of money, but not enough to keep marketing my public domain books as an ongoing concern.
