From My Studio: Rice Paper Wet Mounting and Finishing

Join me in my studio to demonstrate the detailed final steps of preparing my paintings prior to framing. The delicate rice paper that I paint on is too thin and wrinkled to be framed as it is. The mounting process adds a thicker sheet to the thin painting, plus smooths the painting, and deepens the ink colors. After the mounting, the personalized chinese chop is added, and the painting signed. Hope you enjoy.
