Attracting beneficial wildlife by adding homes and habitats to your garden
There are an estimated 24 million gardens in the UK, so there is plenty of space for our neighbourhoods to be packed with fluttering butterflies, humming bees and – if you’re lucky – hedgehogs, amphibians and beetles.
Encouraging wildlife to our gardens is great for so many reasons. It provides them with safe spaces to eat, drink and shelter. By helping them, you are introducing an eco-system into your garden that will benefit your plants.
