Cabin hot tent in canvas tent with old wood stove

At my bush camp canvas tent for the first time in the Fall. It is a cold camp night, but the woodstove keeps me warm as the strong lake winds blow outside. My camp is perfect this time of year. I am so happy to be here and to experience this beautiful place before the snow flies.

I have been camping in this location for a couple years and it's soon time for me to move. I have a new location picked out close by and I am so happy to show you why I am choosing to do this.

How much experience do I have?

That depends. I am pretty good at starting a fire these days and gathering wood. But I don't really have true bushcraft skills and definitely no carpentry or construction skills or training. I could probably make a shelter if I had to, but that would just come from all the YouTube training (watching) over the years.
