Built a Talking AI Assistant with ESP32-S3 #iotdevices #development #pcbdesign

We recently developed an AI voice assistant at CadPacers powered by the ESP32-S3, combining edge hardware with cloud based intelligence. The system uses an INMP441 I²S MEMS microphone for voice capture, OpenAI's ChatGPT API through a custom relay backend for natural language processing, and a MAX98357A I²S DAC amplifier for clear audio playback. A 1.69" display provides real-time facial animations and visual feedback, creating a more engaging user experience. In this demo, the assistant responds to spoken questions in real time, showcasing seamless voice interaction on an embedded platform.
