Rhythm Changes Etude -Jazz Saxophone Sheet Music - Saxophone Lessons

Rhythm Changes Etude #4, by Randy Hunter at https://beginningsax.com, is the fourth of 4 etudes based on the popular George Gerswin chord changes to the tune, I Got Rhythm. The etudes are used to demonstrate the value of writing etudes based on concepts you are learning in the practice room.

This one builds on the concepts used in the previous etudes by adding bebop scale passing tones on the A section and upper & lower approach tones on the bridge. At this point we have covered multiple aspects of improvisation vocabulary including arpeggios, pentatonic scales, chordal 7ths and flat 9's, enclosures, and more.
