Hi there! Here we are again with another game, this time we play Steins;Gate. Non-direct spin-off of Chaos;Head this game has some similar mechanics and storytelling. We are called to take the decision of the main character Okabe Rintaro (Okarin for friends) as he starts to engage his battle against time and destiny.

The story unfolds in ten chapter plus three alternative endings which are all mandatory in order to get access to the eleventh and final chapter. All alternative endings have to be triggered with a specific prompt (or better a specific abstention of doing some action during the gameplay). Differently from his predecessor, in this installment we don’t have a main character who dwell in the delusions world jumping from one to another. One of the most relevant introductions is the use of the cellphone (the ones before smartphones, nostalgia reminder), which allows you to send/read messages, make call and also change the sound and theme.

The plot is pretty intriguing and saying something more will result in spoilers, so for the sake of the experience I won’t add more . Almost forgot it, one more thing to say. Speaking about multiple alternative ending; all the video named like “Chapter X[…]” will only follow the main path, so whenever there is the possibility to change the course of actions, I’ll put an interactive link (visible during the moment of the critical choice) which will redirect you to the alternative ending video. So, long story short, when there is the possibility to change the events and get the ending, I’ll notify you. Of course, those videos will be also available as stand alone for whom would like only to see what happens out of curiosity.
